The Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club hosted an event at the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, featuring chess competitions between an 'intelligent robot' and several visitors, including national team player Afifa Druish Al Umari. Visitors engaged in exciting matches against the robot after selecting a difficulty level suitable for each category, in an interactive atmosphere that was well-received by the audience. Al Umari expressed her happiness with this initiative, confirming that the robot's inclusion in the club's activities garnered significant visitor interaction, who showed great enthusiasm for competing with modern technology, reflecting the public's passion for this mind game. She added: 'Each participant can play a match with the robot at a specified competitive level, which added an exciting element due to the robot's high capabilities and provided a new competitive platform within the exhibition's atmosphere'. The club's Managing Director and CEO, Hisham Taher, emphasized the importance of attracting various age groups to play chess, noting that the club is keen to launch quality initiatives to increase the number of players and provide an attractive environment at all events, in line with its development strategy.
